## Abstract Recently, a new type of time step integration algorithms using complex time steps has been proposed. For linear problems, the algorithms are higher order accurate, unconditionally stable and have directly controllable numerical dissipation. Solutions with high accuracy can be generated

Method of iterative linearization to sol

In this paper, an iterative method of statistic linearization (IMSL) is presented to solve non-linear stochastic vibration equations. This method represents an improvement over the classical linearization method. The method uses the solution of the corresponding linear vibration equation as an initi

## Abstract A finite element weighted residual process has been used to solve transient linear and non‐linear two‐dimensional heat conduction problems. Rectangular prisms in a space‐time domain were used as the finite elements. The weighting function was equal to the shape function defining the dep
