โœฆ Synopsis

This work represents a semi-empirical model of heat transfer in nonuniform porous media, based on an experimental investigation of internal heat transfer and hydrodynamics. We suggest mechanisms of heat transfer in porous bodies including low-scale turbulent pulsations and heat carrier macromixing in pores. It is shown that the values of a mean internal heat transfer coefficient and of dispersion coefficients depend primarily on large-scale steady fluctuations of temperature and velocity fields determined by nonuniformity degree of porous structure, porosity fluctuation. As a result of this experimental investigation and theoretical analysis, we have determined criterion for a heat transfer equation at one-phase coolant motion. We suggest a classification for internal heat transfer regimes in nonuniform porous structures which are dependence of a value of Reynold criterion.
