✦ Synopsis
We report on heat of dilution measurements with a calorimeter of the heat conduction type in flow mode and twin construction developed in our laboratory for high precision measurements. Measuring method and data analysis are exemplified with measurements on aqueous solutions. Special interest is devoted to the extrapolation of heat of dilution measurements to infinite dilution. The results of chemical model (CM) calculations and mean spherical approximation (MSA) are compared with the experimental data.
