✦ Synopsis
At 1.3"K the heat conductivity of thuringian glass is 8. 1O-5 cal cm-1 deg-' set-'. Introduction. To be able to estimate beforehand the degree. of heat insulation of a glass calorimeter to be constructed, we wanted a value of the heat conductivity of thuringian glass at a temperature of about 1°K. We made some measurements with a very simple apparatus which gave an approximate value of the heat conductivity.
