Temperature dependence of the NMR relaxa
✍ D.T. Sprague; N. Alikacem; R.B. Hallock πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 1991 πŸ› Elsevier Science 🌐 English βš– 164 KB

The NMR spin-lattice relaxation time, T 1, of a degenerate submonolayer coverage of 3He on thin 4He films has been measured. As a function of the 4He coverage, T1 exhibits a maximum, and crosses over to a region with an anomolous temperature dependence at higher coverages.

Freezing, melting and superfluidity of4H
✍ Eric Molz; John Beamish πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 1994 πŸ› Elsevier Science 🌐 English βš– 148 KB

Since freezing is suppressed in small pores such as those of Vycor, superfluidity occurs at substantially higher pressures than in bulk 4He. Ultrasonic measurements show that the amount of superfluid in the pores does not decrease until freezing begins at a pressure of about 36 bar. At slightly high
