✦ Synopsis

Measurements of heat capacity and electrical resistivity of palladium in the temperature range 1400-1800 K by a subsecond duration pulse heating technique are described. The results are expressed by the relations: Cp -32.19 5.966 β€’ 10-3T + 4.440 x 10-6T 2 p -15.42 + 1.840 x 10-~T

where Cp is in J 9 tool -~ 9 K -l, p in tzf~ 9 cm, and T in K. Estimated maximum inaccuracies of the measured properties are: 3% for heat capacity and 1% for electrical resistivity.
