Two new compounds, hastatusides A and B (1 and 2, resp.), together with five known compounds, resveratrol, rumexoside, torachrysone‐8‐yl β‐D‐glucopyranoside, rutin, nepodin, and orientaloside were isolated from the roots of Rumex hastatus. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR spectroscopy.
