But in this tale, Petunia never agreed with her husband's methods of disciplining her nephew, and Vernon was excessively unreasonable. When her husband takes his hatred of magic out on a curious four year old Dudley Dursley, resulting in the death of Petunias only son, Petunia flees with young Harry into the wizarding world and seeks help from the goblins to save her and her nephew from her husbands wrath.
