## Abstract Three cases of zopiclone abuse in South Wales are described. Two involve oral use with alcohol, and one of intravenous use. It appears that zopiclone has become widely available ‘on the street’ in parts of S. Wales where they are called ‘zim‐zims’. The implications are discussed.
