~ ~~~-~~ Child Protection Working Group Chailey Heritage* North Chailey East Sussex BN8 4EF 'Treat every child with dignity and respect' Guidelines for Good Practice in Intimate Care hese guidelines are part of a series developed by a multi-T disciplinary team within one service for children with disabilities.' They aim to provide clear expectations for all staff involved with the physical care of children.
Children with severe disabilities are very vulnerable, and all staff involved in the intimate care of disabled children should be sensitive to the child's needs.
These guidelines are designed to safeguard both children and staff and are based on the belief that everyone is safer if expectations are clear and approaches are as consistent as possible.
