Switzerland's Levitronix, a manufacturer of specialized pump products for the semiconductor and medical markets, has signed a distribution agreement with Mykrolis Corp.
Mykrolis, the former microelectronics division of Millipore Corp, will market Levitronix bearingless centrifugal pumps in selected geographies, and will also incorporate the pumps into its fluid delivery and filtration systems for sale worldwide.
"Through this strategic relationship, Mykrolis will be able to add this innovative pump technology to the fluid delivery systems we are currently developing for a variety of wet applications in the semiconductor facility," said Gerry MacKay, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Mykrolis.
Reto Schoeb, chief executive officer of Levitronix Switzerland, expects that the agreement will expand his company's presence into the semiconductor and microelectronics industry.
AXFLOW MOVES INTO SLOVENIA AND CROATIA
The AxFlow Group has extended its market coverage into Slovenia and Croatia.
AxFlow GesmbH based in Graz, Austria will initially head up the operations, providing technical support, warehouse and service facilities for the two countries, while sales manager Miroslav Lindes will be responsible for the region.
