## Abstract A kinetic study of the single‐step hole transfer in DNA was performed by measuring time‐resolved transient absorption. DNA molecules with various sequences were designed and conjugated with naphthalimide (NI) and phenothiazine (PTZ) to investigate the sequence and distance dependence of
