HE importance of the pituitary gland in T the inception, growth, and control ol' cancer, both in experimental animals and in human subjects, is well known and need not be reviewed. What does still remain a question, however, is which factor or factors secreted from this master endocrine gland participate in carcinogenesis or are responsible for the control of neoplastic growth.
