โฆ Synopsis
Institute for Molecular Science, Myodaiji, Okazaki 444 Japan A brief review on single crystal preparation of the high-T c oxides is presented.
Results of studies on the physical properties carried out mainly for these crystal specimens are also given. Characteristics of newly found high-T c oxides are discussed.
Because the existence of Cu-O layers seems to be a necessary condition at the present stage for exhibiting high-T c superconductivity~ it is quite important to use single crystal specimens to extract the detailed informations on such low dimensional systems.
