Group 6 anionic p-hydride complexes catalyze hydrogenation of conjugated olefins, aldehydes, ketoesters, and alkynes, and hydrosilylation of aldehydes and conjugated olefinswith high regio-and stereoselectivity.
Ketones are converted into silyl ethers and silyl enol ethers with monohydrosilanes and dihydrosilanes, respectively.
