โฆ Synopsis
Welcome to Beijing!
The International Cryogenic Engineering Committee has selected China and in particular the city of Beijing as the location of its ICEC 13 Conference in recognition of the high level of cryogenic research which has been continuously conducted in its research institutions, in particular the cryogenic laboratory of the Academia Sinica.
We are very happy to recognize the efforts by our Chinese colleagues, who have been able to overcome very difficult times in the past and we want to emphasize the usefullness of international scientific exchange, which has allowed the growth of modern science, but also of mutual understanding across political and ideological borders.
The growth of scientific exchange is one way to build a better world both in its technological importance, in this case in cryoengineering, and for the spirit of free communication and friendly collaboration, which goes much further than the technological achievements.
We are particularly happy to welcome all the participants in the ICEC 13 Conference, who have accepted the invitation to participate in this exchange and in being personally involved in the possible imporovement of the scientific and personal interactions worldwide.
As a specific return for their personal involvement, the participants will find a very interesting scientific pro-C. Rizzuto, ICEC Chairman gramme, one of the best in the last editions of ICEC Conferences, and will be able to enjoy the exceptionally nice and friendly atmosphere of this Conference.
