R| I Clt The Chicago Solar Partnership Active for nearly three years, the Chicago Solar Partnership is a creative and effective collaboration of government, business, and the community. Regarded by some as a model public-private partnership, this effort is a significant step towards developing the solar energy market in the Midwestern United States. Gabriela Martin and Mary O'Toole of the partnership describe how Chicago is moving towards being one of the greenest cities in the USA.

The Chicago Solar Partnership brings together city and state government, and labour and community organizations with Commonwealth Edison (CornEd), the largest electricity provider in Illinois, to promote renewable energy and to help install PV throughout Chicago.
