Green Wrappers.--(U. S. D. A. Clip Sheet, No. 815. ) After chemists of the Department found that glass or paper containers of a grass green color cut off the light rays which hasten rancidity, a large company marketing fish products has adopted a new green parchment cover which it is hoped will better preserve the flavor of the contents. Although the findings of scientists in public employ are public property, the seafood company is reported to have obtained an agreement from the manufacturers of the parchment paper not to sell the same shade to any competitor.
