✦ Synopsis
The observed contrast of periodic array in a grain boundary terminating in the triple junction is analysed. A large angular deviation from any high density coincidence site lattice (CSL) boundary has been found by determining the rotation parameters of such a boundary with high accuracy. In spite of the large misorientation, an agreement between secondary grain boundary dislocation models and the observed periodicitywasfound.Thisindicatesapossibilityofaccommodatingmisorientationsfromcertaincoincidence orientation relationships to larger secondary rotations than previously assumed. Furthermore, close agreement with the determined periodicity and plane matching of( I I I) planes was also found according to which the tilt deviation could be accommodated by the lattice dislocations with Burgers vector of type a/2 < 111).
