✦ Synopsis

This article reviews two recent reports on the performance of IT in the public sector. The first concerns the Government's handling of IT projects following a catalogue of disasters and poor results. The second is the review by the Computing Services and Software Association (CSSA) of industry views towards such projects. The author concludes with some reflections on the contractual process.
