✦ Synopsis
The growth of the pullet's adrenals, thyroids, ovary, pituitary, and comb was studied thoroughly by Breneman ('46, '54), but no observations on the growth of glands, comb, and oviduct have been reported for poulards. It is felt that such a study and the comparison of growth data for immature, intact females with data from poulards of the same age can contribute information regarding the time of onset and the extent of ovarian estrogen secretion.
