I purchased this book in order to have a good general reference with recipes to make when friends who have Celiac's disease eat over. The book is more than just a cookbook as it contains advice and tips for making a gluten free home. For instance in the beginning of the book the author cautions

I found this book very enlightening and resourceful. Many of the other gluten-free books I reviewed were written more for medical personnel than the average person. It does repeat some things in several sections, but all in all I found it to be worth reading and easy to follow the gluten free life
