โฆ Synopsis
For some experimental guidelines of the next millennium, I review the determinations of the masses, decays and mixings of the gluonia, scalar and hybrid mesons from QCD spectral sum rules and low-energy theorems, and compare them with the lattice.

We summarize the different features of the scalar mesons from QCD spectral sum rule analyses of the two-and three-point functions. The results do not favour the tiu + dd interpretation of the broad and low mass (~(0.6). and the Us resonance nature of the eventually observed n(0.9) meson. We also di
We study hybrid mesons from the clover and improved gauge actions at /3 = 2.6 on the anisotropic 123 x 36 lattice using our PC cluster. We estimate the mass of 1 -+ light quark hybrid as well as the mass of the charmonium hybrid. The improvement of both quark and gluonic actions, first applied to th
