✦ Synopsis
Differential scanning calorimetry measurements show that phases I of fluoro-, cyano-, and isocyano-cyclohexane are plastic crystals according to Timmermans' criterion. Supercooling these phases to 100 K leads to glassy crystalline phases. The supercooled phases of cyano-and isocyano-cyclohexane are persistent and will allow the study of the corresponding glass transitions at increasing and decreasing temperatures.
