✦ Synopsis

We study the Ginzburg-Landau free energy functional for the case of an unconventional order parameter. We derive explicit expressions for the coefficients of the gradient terms, taking into account the effects of impurity scattering, by using the weak-coupling quasiclassical theory; several interesting features of our results are discussed.
