Epstein-Barr virus infection can affect both the central and peripheral nervous system. In some patients this occurs concurrently. Two patients are presented with encephalopathy and acute quadriparesis with diminished reflexes. Positive serology for Epstein-Barr virus was found in both patients. Bot
