โฆ Synopsis
A little context: I am an intern at a major Fund of Hedge Funds, and read this book to learn more about the origins of the industry and how hedge funds should operate.
This book is a great introduction to to hedge funds. What I liked about it is that it briefly covered most major developments through 2003-04, and I then looked up other books dedicated to those topics I found interesting. (British pound devaluation on 92, Malaysian baht crisis, George Soros, etc)
It also has 7 Manager profiles, that are very interesting.
A great, quick, read for an introduction to hedge fund structure and origins.
Don't expect more than that.
