✦ Synopsis

Based on the topo-bathymetric map of a coastal compartment, relief analysis is used to determine long-term morphological evolution by means of a number of cartographical techniques--trend surface analysis, slope analysis, roughness analysis and stream network analysis. An overall picture is deduced from the quannfication of erosion and deposition obtained by comparing topo-bathymetric charts, revealing the short-term evolution. These results are then used to estimate the impact of developments.

## Abstract Methods adapted from proteomics can directly characterize proteins present in immobilized biocatalysts. Complete hydrolysis followed by HPLC analysis of Tyr and Phe estimates total protein bound, and is preferable to conventional difference methods, as tested with subtilisin Carlsberg o
