Cargill has been appointed Director of Education by Data Processing Management Association (DPMA). As Director of Education, Cargill implements and oversees DPMA's education-related programs. He is also administrator for the DPMA Education Foundation.

Cargill graduated from Illinois University with a master's degree in education, thereafter gaining thirteen years of experience developing training programs for computer industry firms.

For the past five years he has served on the faculty of Lake Forest College, Graduate School of Management.

DPMA, with a membership of nearly 50,000 is the largest organization representing information management professionals worldwide.
