✦ Synopsis

Abstract

This work presents statistical data on breast cancer incidence in the population of the USSR and the Union republics (1970‐1980). Mortality rates for the population are also presented, together with trends in compilation of breast cancer patient contingents. The study was based on summarized data on breast cancer incidence and patient follow‐up carried out by oncological institutions.
