## Abstract The Mahneshan granitoids intruded the Neoproterozoic‐Lower Cambrian regional metamorphic rocks in northwestern Iran. These granitoids consisting mainly of K‐feldspar, plagioclase, quartz, muscovite, garnet and biotite display a number of subtypes in terms of structure, texture and miner
