โœฆ Synopsis


Electrophoretic studies of a long established population of the guppy reveal that four out of sixteen loci are polymorphic. These loci are EST-2, MDH-1, PGM and TO. Crosses show that inheritance is mendelian in each case and that there is no detectable linkage between any pair of loci. The average heterozygosity per individual is estimated to be 10.4%.
