Eleven F1 hybrid cultivars of cauliflower, representing a range of maturity types, were examined for their responsiveness to anther culture. Embryos were produced from each of the cultivars tested, and the mean embryo yield varied from 82.2 embryos per 100 anthers cultured for cv Dova to 0.6 embryos
