carbon dioxide in the recycle gas. The production cost of the plant will be cut dramatically without affecting its production capacity. It is predicted that after the renovation, the plant's consumption of ethylene and oxygen will be decreased by over 10,000 tonne/y and over 40,000 tonne/y, respectively. The plant's unit consumption of ethylene will decline by 5%.
