Blochem. -137: 205-9 to glve [74Se dlmethyl selenlde. whlch was trapped In nltromethane solutlon, with varlous alkyl halldes to glve dlmethylselenonlum compounds of the type (CH3)2Set-R. where R = -CH~COZH, -CH2C02C2Hs1 -( CH2)2C02H and -( C H ~) ~C O ~C ~H S . [7%e]Hethyl-~elenomethlonlneselenonlum lodlde was synthesized from [75Se]selenomethlonlne and methyl lodlde In a mixture of formlc and acetlc aclds at 25'C.
