✦ Synopsis

The title compounds are generated and characterized in the gas phase by mass-spectrometric methods (neutralization-reionization mass spectrometry) from the corresponding ionic precursors M&H+. The latter are inter alia generated by 100 eV electron-impact ionization of the sandwich compounds M( CSH5) 2 ( M = Fe, Co, Ni ).
