โฆ Synopsis
Let R and S be arbitrary associative rings. Given a bimodule W , we denote by R S ลฝ . 1 ลฝ . โฌ and โซ the functors Hom y, W and Ext y, W , where ? s R or S. The ? ? ? ? functors โฌ and โฌ are right adjoint with the evaluation maps โฆ as unities. A R S module M is โฌ-reflexive if โฆ is an isomorphism. In this paper we give, for a M weakly cotilting bimodule W , the notion of โซ-reflexivity. We construct large R S Abelian subcategories M M and M M where the functors โซ and โซ are left adjoint R S R S and a ''cotilting theorem'' holds. แฎ 2000 Academic Press R S โฌ-reflexiยจe if โฆ is an isomorphism.

## Synopsis A general approach to study peptide structure is presented using three areas of ongoing research in our laboratories. The first involves the molecular basis for taste of peptide derivatives. We synthesized dipeptidies based on baspartyl-a-aminocycloalkane carboxylic acid methyl ester.
