Carbamazepine (CBZ) is a widely used antiepileptic drug (AED). Recently, a chewable tablet (Tegretol chewtabs) has been formulated. This open substitution study was designed to compare the two formulations with respect to efficacy and tolerability in patients with intractable epilepsy. Thirty patien
