✦ Synopsis

Performance characteristics of a particular non-standard configuration thermoelectric generator concept, involving triangular prismatic shaped electrodes, are predicted following a detailed analytical determination of its two-dimensional temperature field. A peculiar result emerging from this analysis, namely the performance characteristics depending on only one "'configuration" parameter lumping together all relevant configurational details, is tentatively generalized on the basis of Osterle's ~'unified theory of energy converters".
