โฆ Synopsis
This article describes two personal computer-based teaching modules designed to instruct engineering students in the more fundamental thermal aspects of the analysis and design of heat exchangers. One module applies to shell-and-tube exchangers; the other applies to cross-flow types. Enhanced numerical algorithms solve discretized forms of the governing differential energy-conservation equations. Graphical user interfaces display temperature distributions along with traditional design and performance measures.

## Abstract This paper describes a thermal design and simulation method of a closed cabinet with a heat exchanger for inner air cooling. In the controller system that we used for this research, the cabinet is equipped to be outdoors, and the cabinet is sealed to prevent the introduction of dust. Be
We compute a quantum mechanical probability distribution expressed as a series of generalized Laguerre polynomials. A method for the numerical generation of the polynomials of any integer order is given. Two new properties of these polynomials are derived to reduce the distribution to a closed form
In the literature there is growing evidence of instabilities in standard time-stepping schemes to solve boundary integral elastodynamic models. 1-3 However, there has been no theory to support scientists and engineers in assessing the stability of their boundary element algorithms or to help them wi
