โฆ Synopsis
Exhibition 1970 Bou, through a suitably dimensioned capillary from high prcssurc into a I cm:' volume which is continuously evacuated by a rotary pump. A small amount of the gas then passes through an orifice into the high vacuum analyzer chamber. III spite of the mass depending on molecular flow, no discrimination takes place as the gas is also pumped from the chamber by molecular RO\~. T/w E.~/ra/ogrop/r EAO-201. A much improved design compared to earlier models, the EAO-701 allows convenient and operationally simple determination of oxygen in metal samples, by vacuum melting the sample. converting the evolved oxygen into carbon monoxide which may bc accurately determined by standard infrared absorption techniques.
