During this time the association will initiate and implement several market development and technology demonstration activities at the provincial, national and international levels. This includes championing hydrogen and fuel cells as a technology to help address climate change and sustainable energy issues.
H2FCC, a Vancouver-based non-profit national industry association, was established in 2000 to advance the development and commercialization of Canada's world-leading hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, products and services. These are largely clustered in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, especially in and around Vancouver. In addition to funding received from the Government of Canada, operations and activities of H2FCC are predominantly supported through membership fees and fees for services, including project management.
