## Abstract In colorectal carcinomas, loss‐of‐function mutations of the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) tumor suppressor gene lead to a nuclear accumulation of the oncogenic transcriptional activator β‐catenin, predominantly at the invasive front within the tumor host interface. Various identified
