Inc will no longer be providing bottled water at its major facilities worldwide. Instead Pentair will supply water filtered by the company's Everpure systems for its employees.
The plan is being implemented in approximately 50 Pentair facilities worldwide. Some facilities, including Pentair's Minneapolis headquarters, have already switched over to Everpure-filtered tap water.
"Eliminating bottled water provides significant economic and environmental benefits, including a significant reduction in waste," said Randall Hogan, Pentair president and CEO. "As a leader in the water-treatment industry, this transition is logical for our company and our employees."
Everpure, a brand in the Pentair Water portfolio, manufactures commercial and residential water filtration solutions. Other Pentair Filtration brands include SHURflo, Fleck, Structural, PENTEK, American Plumber, WellMate, CodeLine, Pentair Industrial and Filtersoft.
