β¦ Synopsis
In the USA, Hedman Resources Ltd says that it is not proceeding with a planned amalgamation arrangement with Enviro Industrial Technologies (EIT), a privately-owned company that is based in New York.
Hedman, which sells a line of asbestos-free industrial mineral products to the automotive (brakes and gaskets), plastics and building industries, will continue to hold the exclusive worldwide distribution rights to sell vermiculite produced at EIT's recently completed plant at Butler Township near North Bay, Ontario, Canada. The Butler Township deposit is one of the few North American sources of vermiculite that is asbestos-free.
