The semiclassical Gaussian wave packet method is formulated in the classical interaction picture. Since the intrraclionpicture classical trajectories that govern the packet dynamics are slowlg 'wing in time, the approximare remporal propagation of the wavefunction is more accurate. Two numerical examples of scatterins calculations are presenred.
