## Abstract Approximately 9% of gastric carcinomas worldwide are associated with Epstein‐Barr virus (EBV), making it the most frequent EBV‐associated malignancy. Pernicious anemia, a condition with chronic gastritis and achlorhydria, is strongly associated with gastric carcinoma. Both chronic infla
