✦ Synopsis
The gas chromatographic separation of a mixture of ethyl, 2-chloroethyl, 2,2dichloroethyl and 2,2,2-trichloroethyl esters of Cz-CzO n-alkanoic acids on lowpolarity (SE-30) and polar (OV-351) quartz capillary columns with temperature programming was investigated. The retention data for all 76 individual components are given and their elution order on both columns is discussed, together with the effect of chlorine substitution.
