Gaseous Complexes between Cobaltchloride and Indiumchloride

The equilibria (1) and (2):
were investigated by optical spectroscopy and by vapour pressure measurements using the transpiration method:

Together with thermodynamic data from the literature the results obtained allow a complete description of all heterogeneous solid/gas as well as the homogeneous equilibria in the gas phase of the system CoCl~2~/InCl~3~ in the temperature range 500–800°.
