โฆ Synopsis
A quantitative gas-liquid chromatographic method has been developed for the analysis of amino acids. The method involves the conversion of free amino acids into their isosmyl N(O)-heptafluorobutyryl esters and chromatograplly on 3 % SE-3o-Gas-Chrom Q. The method can be applied to acid-hydrolysed proteins or glycoproteins.
It is extremely sensitive (0.1 ng) and all common protein amino acids can be accurately determined in a single chromatographic run with pipecolic acid as internal standard,
